2023 Spring season includes 1-2 weekly practices scheduled at the discretion of the coach and Sunday league games 3/26-5/21.
Suffolk County PAL lacrosse has merged with Nassau County PAL lacrosse to create LILax. This competitive league governs boys youth lacrosse across Long Island and is focused on fundamental and advanced game skills as well as sportmanship.
Longwood youth registration includes preseason trainings, weekly spring practices and Spring Sunday league games. All athletes must be registered to participate in preseason trainings.

Registration closes Jan 15th. Early bird pricing prior to January 1st is $150. After Jan 1st it is $175.
**For late registration jersey numbers will be given randomly. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate jersey name or number requests as orders will not come in time for our season. Thank you for your understanding.**

Spring practices will begin in March as soon as the weather allows. All practice days/times are scheduled by the individual coaches.
Spring league games are played on Sundays. Times and locations will not be available until March.

2 Step Registration Process:
1-Obtain USA Lacrosse membership
2-Register for LYSA lacrosse
STEP 1-
As per LILax, all boys must have USA Lacrosse membership prior to registration.
USA LACROSSE MEMBERSHIP MUST BE VALID THROUGH 6/30/2023. You will have to renew if the expiration date is earlier than 6/30/2023.

STEP 2-

PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE TEAMSNAP APP SO YOU CAN ACCEPT THE INVITATION TO JOIN YOUR TEAM WHEN THE TIME COMES. TEAMS WILL BE ESTABLISHED AFTER REGISTRATION HAS CLOSED IN JANUARY. UNTIL THEN, ALL TRAINING INFORMATION WILL BE SHARED VIA EMAIL.
Boy’s Mandatory Equipment

- Protective cup
The goalkeeper is required to wear a throat protector and chest protector, in addition to a helmet, mouthpiece, gloves and a protective cup.
